Bushido is the traditional code of the Japanese samurai which stressed courage, loyalty, self-discipline and simple living!
It literally means “Way of the Warrior”
The five laws of Bushido
Loyalty
Loyalty towards your ruler and home
Loyalty to and respect of your parents
Loyalty to yourself, diligence
Courtesy
Love
Modesty
Etiquette
Courage
Durability and sangfroid
Patience and endurance
Quick-wittedness
Openness and sincerity
Sense of honor
Justice
Simplicity
Purity
I have always envisioned a samurai as the most disciplined warrior there is!
Striving to become an old fashioned samurai and living after their laws is not something I can and will do, but taking their principles and transferring them to the modern era?
Becoming a modern samurai? That is something worth of pursuing!
One of the laws is simplicity: “Being pure and clean”
Taking care of your own body and mind, being trim, is a part of it.
In this article we will focus on the body, especially on the outside. Nutrition and Training is for the outside and inside.
The skin is the largest organ of the human body, but most people do not treat it that way!
We put industrial, chemical loaded crap on our skin and we absorb all of that too. Would you eat stuff like that?
Did you ever read the labels of a deodorant or shampoo?
Researchers found that the aluminum in deodorants can cause cancer and that is just one of the many chemicals in our beauty products!
Cherishing the law of simplicity and also being a minimalist does not want me to use 20 different beauty products to take care of myself.
I want to spend less time and money in the bathroom, but also improve my health and naturally smell good!
Never use chemical loaded shampoos again
It is expensive depending on the brand. It dries your skin. The skin is our largest organ and we absorb a lot of those chemicals.
It is proven that it even impacts our hormones and can cause several diseases.
The best thing I ever did for my skin is this little gem! I never shower with regular shampoo anymore.
This saves me time, money and improves my health!

Enter the mask
I know how that sounds, but if you have skin problems and don`t want to spend an insane amount of money on masks that are loaded with crap?
Try this cheap and easy self-made mask. You can do this once a week, if you feel like it.
I bought mine two years ago and I still have more than half of it left! The clay lasts forever.
I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I’ll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. In the cold shower I use a natural soap with coconuts, papayas and vanilla beans. Then I apply an Indian healing clay / apple cider vinegar facial mask, which I leave on for 10-20 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine.
How to?
You combine one tablespoon of Apple cider vinegar with the mother
The apple cider vinegar is important to balance your ph.
with one tablespoon of Indian healing clay
Put the concoction on your face until it feels like your skin is tightening and pulsating from the blood flow, or the concoction is really dry.
Apply the mask for 5-20minutes, depending on your skin type.
Wash it off with warm water.
Afterwards your face will be slightly red from all the blood flow.
This is completely normal and it will fade away pretty quickly! Usually it disappears in around 30 minutes.
You can use some coconut oil afterwards to rehydrate the skin. MCT Oil works too, or any kind of moisturizer you might have at home.
Joshua Brown says
SO I saw that EDTA was one of the ingredient of within the white soap. EDTA has be proven to cause Alzheimer’s and different forms of cancer. The black soap look pretty good though with nothing but all natural ingredients.
Just letting you know. They probably changed ingredients in the white soap recently or something.
