After 10 months with our program, Andy was amazed how much has changed with so little effort. One of his major concerns was creating a routine that didn`t change his lifestyle:
I was working out at home and was still partying a lot, including alcohol
I did not change his daily habits and built a customized workout and diet around his lifestyle although we changed his diet quite a lot, because adherence to the diet is key! Make it flexible and make it work!
Andy ate 7 meals a day before we started coaching him. Many young athletes fall for that myth because it is written in most of the magazines and all huge bodybuilders promoted it back in the day. The truth could not be more different, as Andy experienced himself in just a couple of weeks eating 7 meals a day… He got fat, really fast!
We showed him a better way to eat while maintaining a balanced diet with all the right food. Now he did not have to worry about meal timing and meal preparation like professional bodybuilders. The new lifestyle was way more relaxing for him. Andy especially liked the big meals for dinner, since they helped him sleep better. At the same time he could focus longer on work during the day since his body did not have to digest a lot of food during that time!
Going to eat with my colleagues was very important for me, so I was always eating lunch in the cafeteria, where it is impossible to track your macros!
The pictures underline the huge success Andy had in a very short period of time without changing his daily habits too much.
